1. What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password managed by Supabase Auth. We do not collect names, phone numbers, or physical addresses.
If you upgrade to a paid plan, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and purchase status but never see or store your card number.
2. Video & Local Processing
CutServe processes video entirely on your device. Your footage is never uploaded to our servers. The desktop app does not transmit video data over the network.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Authenticate you and manage your account
- Track your plan and export usage
- Send transactional emails (password reset, billing receipts via Stripe)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel — website hosting
Each operates under its own privacy policy.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and subscription records within 30 days.
